September 4 (SeeNews) - Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as share indices ended down, bourse data showed.
A total of 18,845 of Aerodrom's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 32 million dinars. The company closed flat at 1,700 dinars.
There was no blue-chip gainers on Tuesday.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went down 0.29% to 725.73 points on Tuesday. The index fell 1.24% on Monday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, declined 0.24% to 1,516.30 points on Tuesday, after decreasing 0.60% on Monday.
Agriculture chemicals producer Galenika Fitofarmacija [BEL:FITO] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, after losing 1.04% and closing at 2,771 dinars. A total of 20 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 55,420 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse rose to 60.2 million dinars ($590,013/510,136 euro) on Tuesday from 23.1 million dinars on Monday, as 198 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 12.4 million dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 223.5 million dinars to the total turnover of 283.7 million dinars on the stock exchange on Tuesday.
