August 15 (SeeNews) - Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, as share indices ended down, bourse data showed.
A total of 13,139 of the Aerodrom's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 22.9 million dinars. The company closed flat at 1,743 dinars.
Aluminium rolling mill Impol Seval [BEL:IMPL] led the blue-chip gainers' list on Wednesday after winning 0.33% and closing at 3,030 dinars. A total of five of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 15,150 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went down 0.88% to 734.61 points on Wednesday. The index rose 0.04% on Tuesday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, lost 0.62% to 1,525.77 points on Wednesday, after increasing 0.06% on Tuesday.
Soybean processing group Sojaprotein [BEL:SJPT] paced the blue-chip decliners' list on the Belgrade bourse on Wednesday, after losing 5.71% and closing at 132 dinars. A total of 193 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 25,870 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse rose to 45.9 million dinars ($440,561/389,087 euro) on Wednesday from 455,978 dinars on Tuesday, as 191 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 129,230 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 357,960 dinars to the total turnover of 46.2 million dinars on the stock exchange.
