January 5 (SeeNews) - Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] was the top blue-chip gainer on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as share indices dropped, bourse data showed.
Nikola Tesla shares closed at 1,150 dinars, up 0.97%, as 1,062 shares changed hands. The company also generated a share turnover of 1.22 million dinars ($10,398/9,863 euro), the second biggest on the Belgrade bourse, stock exchange data indicated.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, dropped 0.24% to 714.82, after losing 0.11% to 716.65 on Wednesday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, lost 0.21% and closed at 1,566.00. The index edged down by 0.01% to 1,569.35 in the previous trading session.
Total trading turnover on the bourse fell to 11.1 million dinars, down from 19.1 million dinars on Wednesday.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover among the blue chip companies, of 2.32 million dinars. The company's share price edged up 0.81% to 745 dinars, as 3,116 shares were traded.
Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] paced the blue-chip decliners, shedding 2.74% to 1,701 dinars.
