March 30 (SeeNews) - Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] generated the highest turnover among the blue chips on the Belgrade bourse on Thursday, as share indices ended mixed, stock exchange data showed.
Aerodrom Nikola Tesla generated a share turnover of 5.1 million dinars on Thursday, and was the most traded company on the bourse, as 3,952 shares changed hands in 47 transactions. The company lost 0.76% and closed at 1,300 dinars on Thursday.
Civil engineering group Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] was the only blue chip that gained ground on Thursday. Its share price edged up 0.07% and closed at 1,467 dinars. Energoprojekt generated a share turnover of 4.7 million dinars, as 3,195 of its shares changed hands in 23 deals.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, fell 0.53% to 733.55 points on Thursday. On Wednesday, the index declined 0.27% to 737.47.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, edged up 0.03% and closed Thursday's session at 1,608.08. The index fell 0.46% to 1,607.62 on Wednesday.
Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] paced the blue-chip decliners in Belgrade on Thursday. Its shares lost 2.05% and closed at 1,717 dinars. A total of 2,734 shares in the company changed hands in 17 transactions, generating a trading turnover of 4.7 million dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse rose to 30.4 million dinars ($262,943/245,299 euro) on Thursday from 21.4 million dinars on Wednesday, as a total of 294 transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse contributed 1.4 million dinars to the total turnover of the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday.
