June 6 (SeeNews) - Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] led the gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as stock indices increased, bourse data showed.
Aerodrom Nikola Tesla won 2.38% on Tuesday and closed at 1,289 dinars, as 1,711 of its shares changed hands in 282 transactions. The company generated a share turnover of 2.2 million dinars.
Civil engineering group Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] generated a share turnover of 7.0 million dinars, nearly half of the total on the bourse on Tuesday. Energoprojekt won 1.91% and closed 1,438 dinars, and was the most traded company, as 4,863 of its shares changed hands in 22 deals.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, rose 0.42% to 720.38 points on Tuesday. On Monday, the index fell 0.34% to 717.40.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, increased 0.28% on Tuesday and closed at 1,561.16. The index went down 0.42% to 1,556.86 on Monday.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] paced the blue-chip decliners on Tuesday, as it lost 1.37% and closed at 719 dinars. The company generated a turnover of 1.3 million dinars, as 1,760 of its shares changed hands in 56 deals.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse rose to 13.1 million dinars ($120,583/107,001 euro) on Tuesday from 8.3 million dinars on Monday, as 386 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 767,615 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 246.5 million dinars to the session's total trading turnover of 259.6 million dinars on the bourse. A single transaction of Treasury bonds was carried out on Tuesday. A total of 2,000 bonds of the euro-denominated RSO16146 issue changed hands. The bonds bear a coupon of 1% and mature on October 30, 2018.
