June 9 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed a touch higher on Thursday, as gains in Adris and Valamar offset losses in Podravka, bourse data showed.
The 23-share blue-chip index, the CROBEX, gained 0.19% to finish at 2,102.50 points. The narrower CROBEX10 which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, added 0.05% to end at 1,242.96 points.
Preferred shares of diversified holding company Adris [ZSE:ADRS2] were the most traded issue with a turnover of 663,000 kuna, closing 0.47% higher at 426 kuna.
Shares of index heavyweight food and pharmaceuticals producer [ZSE:PODR] Podravka fell 0.33% to end at 589 kuna in a turnover of 467,000 kuna.
Shares of hotel owner and manager Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] rose 0.90% to end at 33.80 kuna in a turnover of 359,000 kuna.
The biggest daily gainer on Thursday was shipping company Jadroplov [ZSE:JDPL] with a rise of 3.55% to 73 kuna.
The bourse's total turnover fell to some 4 million kuna from 5.7 million kuna on Wednesday when it was boosted by a 2.1 million kuna block deal with preffered shares of Adris.
