November 22 (SeeNews) - French hospitality group Accor said on Monday it will open an ibis Styles hotel in Moldova's capital Chisinau in 2024.
The group has concluded a franchise agreement with Moldovan real estate investor, developer and entrepreneur Ciuhrii Ceslav, it said in a press release.
The ibis Styles Chisinau will have 105 rooms, a ground floor restaurant with bar and an external terrace, a 200 sq m modular meeting center and a fitness area. The hotel will be part of a mixed-use project and will be located next to residential buildings, retail, entertainment and community areas such as: shops, kindergarten and a church.

The new hotel proposes a contemporary and design-oriented concept, which is very much in line with the positioning of the overall residential development, as well as the vibe of the city," Accor Development director for Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova and the Czech Republic Catalina Rosu said.
Located on the main road towards the Chisinau International Airport, the hotel is the first under the ibis brand to open in Moldova.

It is about foreign investment and image for our country," real estate investor and developer Ciuhrii Ceslav said.
Accor is a French multinational hospitality company that owns, manages and franchises over 5,100 hotels, resorts and vacation properties in 110 countries.5,100 properties and 10,000 food and beverage venues throughout 110 countries.
The Group operates a 33-room boutique hotel in Chisinau under the MGallery brand since December 2020, according to its website.
