June 14 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian unit of Ireland-based IT company Accenture said on Thursday it plans to double its team in the country to 300 from 140 in the next 12 months.
"As Bulgaria is an extremely important technology centre in Southeastern Europe, we plan to hire more talented people in our offices in Sofia and Plovdiv to step up our operations at a regional level," Kyriacos Sabatakakis, Accenture's regional director for Bulgaria and Greece, said in the statement.
The company aims to build high-quality teams which will work with already established and new technologies using up-to-date methodologies such as Agile, Continuous Integration and DevOps, as well as highly automated processes.
The Bulgarian team is part of Accenture's international network of advanced high-tech centres that serve customers in more than 120 countries around the world.
Accenture provides strategy, consulting, digital, technology and operations services.
