May 26 (SeeNews) - Albanian-American Development Foundation (AADF) has opened a $600,000 (560,000 euro) tender for the purchase and installation of electronic equipment at Tirana’s digital education centre Tumo, it said.
The bidders should be able to supply and put in place hardware such as laptops, monitors, TV screens, printers, scanners and accessories, as well as transfer the existing equipment, AADF said in a tender notice on Thursday.
Bids in the tender should be submitted by June 19.
Tumo will be relocated to the new innovation and technology centre, the Pyramid of Tirana, which will expand Tumo’s activities in programming, animation, game development, robotics and digital arts classes for children and teenagers, Tirana mayor Erion Veliaj said earlier.
AADF in partnership with Armenia-based Tumo Ventures launched Tumo in Tirana in October 2020. Outside Armenia, Tumo has hubs in Paris, Beirut, Moscow, Tirana, Berlin, Kyiv and Lyon, according to data on its website.
