SKOPJE (North Macedonia), July 15 (SeeNews) – A1 Telekom Austria Group said the earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of its subsidiary in North Macedonia fell by 5.1% on the year to 20.8 million euro ($23.8 million) in the first half of 2020.
A1 Makedonija's total revenues decreased by 2.9% year-on-year to 57.9 million euro, A1 Telekom Austria said in an interim financial statement on Tuesday.
Service revenues decreased by 1.6% to 48.1 million euro, with mobile service revenues down 0.1% to 36.6 million euro.
The number of the company's wireless subscribers totalled 1.05 million at the end of June, down from 1.08 million a year earlier.
A1 Makedonija competes with T-Mobile Macedonia, part of Deutsche Telekom, on a market of some two million people.
