February 15 (SeeNews) - A1 Telekom Austria Group has extended the mandate of the CEO of its Serbian unit Vip Mobile, Dejan Turk, by three years, Vip Mobile said.
Turk has been the CEO of Vip Mobile since 2014, and a year later he took over the position of director/CEO/CMO of the Serbia and Slovenia unit within the A1 Telekom Austria Group, the Serbian company said in a statement on Friday.
"The digital age is facing us with completely new challenges, so I believe that this year is the right time to take a step further in our development. As the only international operator in Serbia, we will improve the user experience in all fields," Turk said in the statement.
A1 Telekom Austria Group plans to rebrand Vip Mobile to A1 in 2021 as part of its decision to introduce a unique brand in all markets in which it operates.
Vip Mobile recorded earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of 87.6 million euro ($106.2 million) in 2020, up 5.0%.
