PODGORICA (Montenegro), December 2 (SeeNews) – Montenegrin state-controlled wine producer 13 Jul-Plantaze [MNG:PLAP] led the blue-chip gainers in November, as stock indices declined.
The blue-chip index of the Montenegro Stock Exchange, MNSE10, lost 0.42% month-on-month and 1.51% year-on-year in November, ending at 921.79 points, bourse data indicated.
The MONEX PIF index, which tracks six privatisation and investment funds, decreased by 3.87% month-on-month in November to 2,624.52 points, and was down 0.01% on the year.
13 Jul-Plantaze rose the most among the blue chips in November, adding 15.77% on the month, to 0.1505 euro.
On November 2, the company said its net profit rose to 344,100 euro ($367,168) in the first nine months of 2016 from 201,113 euro last year. 13 Jul-Plantaze was also the most traded blue chip, as 125,817 of its shares changed hands in November.
Majority state-owned power transmission system operator Crnogorski Elektroprenosni Sistem [MNG:PREN] paced the blue-chip decliners in November, shedding 7.35% month-on-month, to 0.755 euro.
Telecommunications company Crnogorski Telekom [MNG:TECG] generated trading turnover of 92,541 euro in November, the biggest one among the blue chips.
Trading in shares on the Montenegro bourse jumped 187.9% year-on-year in November, reaching 3.4 million euro ($3.5 million). Trading turnover was 5.44% higher than a month earlier.
Trading in Treasury bonds made 80.41 million euro of total turnover of 83.83 million euro on the Montenegro Stock Exchange in November.
A total of 464 transactions were concluded on the bourse in Podgorica in November. Stock market capitalisation stood at 2.855 billion euro at the end of the month.
