May 2 (SeeNews) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's Nova Banka [BANJ:NOVB-R-E] said its net profit reached 17.9 million marka ($9.8 million/9.2 million euro) in the first quarter of 2024, up 35% year-on-year.
The lender's net interest income rose by 23% on the year to 24.6 million marka in the January-March period, while the net income from fees and commissions increased by 8.1% to 8.9 million marka, Nova Banka said in a filing with the Banja Luka Stock Exchange (BLSE) earlier this week.
The bank's total assets amounted to 3.6 billion marka at the end of March, up from 3.4 billion marka at the end of 2023.
Nova Banka's shares have not traded on the BLSE in the past year.
