May 2 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange ended higher on Thursday, as gains in shipping company Atlantska Plovdiba [ZSE:ATPL] offset losses in ICT solutions provider Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT], bourse data showed.
The 21-share benchmark, the CROBEX, added 0.23% to close at 2,812.76 points.
The narrower equity index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, climbed 0.08% to 1,703.32 points.
In regular trading, blue chip Ericsson Nikola Tesla was the most traded company with a turnover of 206,000 euro ($221,000), as its shares shed 0.98% to 203 euro.
Shares of Atlantska Plovdiba soared 15.60% to 52.60 euro in a turnover of almost 117,000 euro. Another local shipping company, Tankerska Plovidba announced plans to make a voluntary takeover bid for the 35.49% interest it does not already own in Atlantska Plovidba during the previous trading session, on Tuesday. On Wednesday, May 1, the bourse was closed.
In a block deal of 448,000 euro, a total of 8,0000 shares of consumer goods distributor Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR] changed hands at a price of 56 euro per share.
The total bourse turnover fell to 1.1 million euro from 1.6 million euro on Tuesday.
