December 4 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) gained ground on Friday, with tourism company Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] leading the blue-chip winners, bourse data showed.
Valamar's shares rose 2.48% to a closing price of 28.90 kuna. It generated the largest single turnover among the blue chips for the day - of 1.0 million kuna, ZSE data showed.
At the other end, electrical equipment manufacturer Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI] paced the blue-chip losers by shedding 0.85% to 585 kuna.
Five of ZSE's ten blue-chip companies rose on Friday, three fell and two ended the session unchanged.
ZSE's total trading turnover shrank to 3.2 million kuna ($515,000/424,000 euro) on Friday from 3.7 million kuna on Thursday.
The bourse's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index added 0.31% to 1,748.38 after falling 0.37% on Thursday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, rose 0.42% to 1,088.55 on Friday after losing 0.44% on Thursday.
