February 25 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed lower on Thursday, with electrical equipment manufacturer Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI] leading the blue-chip losers, bourse data showed.
Koncar Elektroindustrija's shares closed 2.24% lower at 655 kuna, ZSE data showed.
At the other end, shares of consumer goods distributor Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR] performed best among blue-chip companies, closing 3.73% higher at 1,390 kuna on Thursday.
Six of the ten blue chips on the ZSE fell on Thursday, three rose and one closed flat.
Shares of Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] generated the largest portion of the ZSE's share trading turnover among the blue-chip companies - of 1 million kuna ($161,300/132,000 euro). Its shares closed at 180.50 kuna, down 0.82%.
The bourse's total trading turnover increased to 10 million kuna on Thursday from 6.4 million kuna on Wednesday.
The ZSE's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index lost 0.21% of its value, ending at 1,839.11, after gaining 0.56% the previous trading day.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, fell 0.20% to a closing value of 1,139.07 on Thursday, after rising 0.47% on Wednesday.
