October 21 (SeeNews) - The Croatian share indices closed down on Friday as turnover rose slightly, bourse data showed.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) dropped 0.33% to 1.959.68 points after falling by 0.78% on Thursday.
The narrower of the bourse's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, lost 0.36% to 1,131.07, after decreasing by 1.03% in the previous session.
Total daily turnover on the bourse increased slightly to 15.8 million kuna ($2.3 million/2.1 million euro) from 15.5 million kuna on Thursday.
Food company Belje [ZSE:BLJE-R-A] paced the CROBEX gainers, advancing 3.52% to 25.78 kuna.
Hotel operator Maistra [ZSE:MAIS-R-A] led the CROBEX decliners, losing 2.54% to 255.08 kuna.
Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT-R-A] generated the session's biggest turnover of 2.5 million kuna. The stock closed down 0.31% to 159.93 kuna as 15,544 shares changed hands.
The fixed-income CROBIS index edged down 0.03% to 109.6659 points.
