August 24 (SeeNews) - The Croatian share indices closed mostly up on Wednesday as turnover halved, bourse data showed.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed flat at 1,799.97 points after gaining 0.25% on Tuesday.
The narrower of the bourse's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, increased 0.16% to 1,046.19 after rising by the same figure in the previous session.
Total daily turnover on the bourse halved to 4.2 million kuna ($630,800/560,700 euro) from 9.5 million kuna on Tuesday.
Radio broadcasting equipment maker RIZ Odasiljaci [ZSE:RIZO-R-A] paced the CROBEX gainers, advancing 2.27% to 87.91 kuna.
Textile company Varteks [ZSE:VART-R-1] led the CROBEX decliners, losing 4.31% to 17.97 kuna.
The preferred shares of diversified conglomerate Adris Grupa [ZSE:ADRS-P-A] generated the session's biggest turnover of 1.4 million kuna. The stock closed flat at 406.83 kuna as 3,452 shares changed hands.
The fixed-income CROBIS index closed up 0.02% at 107.6024 points.
