December 3 (SeeNews) - Ukrainian charter airline Windrose started operating a winter service linking Montenegro's capital Podgorica to Kiev, Montenegrin airport operator Aerodromi Crne Gore said.
Windrose will operate the service twice a week - on Tuesday and Saturday, Aerodromi Crne Gore said in a statement on Wednesday.
"It has been confirmed that the planes on the Kiev-Podgorica route will be full for the next two weeks, and as the Christmas and New Year holidays come after that, we hope that this line will significantly improve the dynamics of both air traffic and tourism in Montenegro," the public relations manager of Aerodromi Crne Gore, Marina Miketic Nikolic, noted.
Windrose also plans to launch flights connecting Kiev to Serbia's Belgrade and North Macedonia's Skopje on December 6 and 7, respectively.
