March 8 (SeeNews) - Turkish on-demand delivery company Getir expanded its operations in France with the opening of a new office in Paris, Istanbul-based media reported.
The next step of the company's international expansion goals is set to be the Dutch capital Amsterdam, Daily Sabah said last week.
Last month, Getir said that it entered the U.K. market launching operations in London.
At the beginning of this year, the delivery firm said that its valuation reached some $850 million (716.5 million euro) after it received $128 million in a second funding round led by venture capitalist Michael Moritz together with Brazilian Base Partners. The fundraise will help Getir to combine exponential growth in Turkey with international expansion, local media reported at the time.
Istanbul-based Getir, founded in 2015, operates in 19 Turkish cities, including the capital Ankara, according to information published on the company's website.
