December 2 (SeeNews) - Turkish lender Turkiye Vakiflar Bankasi TAO [IST:VAKBN], or Vakifbank, said it has issued $750 million (622.4 million euro) worth of five-year fixed-rate "Sustainable Eurobond".
The yield and the coupon rate were set at 6.625% and 6.5%, respectively, with coupon payments due semi-annually, the bank said in a bourse filing on Tuesday.
The securities, issued among deposit banks, will mature on January 8, 2026.
Sustainable bonds are any type of debt securities where the proceeds will be allocated to environmental or social projects.
