March 5 (SeeNews) - Sales of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Turkey increased by 37.4% on the year in the January-February period of 2021, the local association of automotive distributors, ODD, said.
The number of vehicles sold in the first two months of this year reached 102,232, ODD said in a monthly report published earlier this week.
Passenger car sales went up 34.1% year-on-year to 80,107 units in the review period, while sales of light commercial vehicles increased by an annual 51% to 22,125 units.
In February alone, Turkey's passenger car and light commercial vehicle market grew by 24.2% compared to February 2020, to 58,504 units.
