LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), July 29 (SeeNews) – Slovenia's biggest telecommunications operator - state-controlled Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG], said its consolidated net profit rose 44% on the year to 21.3 million euro ($25.3 million) in the first half of 2021.
The company's consolidated operating revenue fell 2% on the year to 319.5 million euro in January-June, Telekom Slovenije said in an interim report filed with the Ljubljana bourse on Wednesday.
First-half EBITDA grew 1% on an annual comparison basis to 113.7 million euro, while EBIT remained flat at 29.3 million euro.
Return on sales went up to 9.2% in the first six months of the current year from 9.1% a year earlier.
Net financial debt rose 17% year-on-year to 444.4 million euro at end-June.
The consolidated statement includes the results of Telekom Slovenije d.d ., its Slovenian companies Avtenta, GVO, Planet TV, Soline, TSinpo, TSmedia, and its subsidiary in Kosovo - IPKO.
