December 7 (SeeNews) - Croatian telco Optima Telekom [ZSE:OPTE-R-A] led the gainers among the blue chips on the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) on Wednesday, bourse data showed.
Optima's shares closed 6.82% higher at 2.77 kuna ($0.4/0.37 euro), as 93,171 changed hands.
Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT-R-A]generated the highest trading turnover of 2.4 million kuna on Wednesday, as 14,251 of the company shares were traded. Its shares closed up 0.53% at 170.86 kuna.
Port operator Luka Rijeka [ZSE:LKRI-R-A] led the blue-chip decliners, as its share price fell by 3.97% to 45.47 kuna.
The bourse's total trading turnover dropped to 7.6 million kuna on Wednesday from 8.4 million kuna on Tuesday.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the ZSE increased 0.67% to 1,988.47 points, after dropping 0.02% on Tuesday.
The narrower of the bourse's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, jumped 0.86% to 1,159.78 points after gaining 0.25% in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS index edged up 0.12% to 109.1870 points.
