September 27 (SeeNews) - Slovenian reinsurer Sava Re [LJE:POSR] said on Tuesday that insured losses arising from the severe storms which hit Slovenia in mid-August have been assessed at 6 million euro ($6.7 million).
This should not effect the company's end-year results as a loss event of this size has already been factored into the Sava Re planned figures for 2016, the company said in a filing with the Ljubljana bourse.
In mid-August, the northeastern and central part of Slovenia were hit by a storm with strong winds, heavy rainfall and hail. In the northeastern and central regions of Slovenia, a lot of damage to residential, commercial and industrial properties as well as to cars was reported.
