August 30 (SeeNews) - Slovenian port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] said on Tuesday its first-half consolidated net profit rose 21% year-on-year to 23.7 million euro ($26.4 million).
The group's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased by an annual 10% to 41.4 million euro in January-June, Luka Koper said in a bourse filing.
Operating profit went up 17% to 28.1 million euro, while net sales grew 11% to 102 million euro.
Total cargo throughput increased 6% to 11.3 million tonnes through June, while the containers throughput amounted to 423,300 TEUs, up 8% year-on-year.
