LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), January 13 (SeeNews) – Slovenia's gross foreign debt amounted to 42.7 billion euro ($45.5 billion) at the end of November, down 4% from a month earlier, preliminary central bank data showed on Friday.
Net external debt dropped to 9.6 billion euro at end-November from 11.7 million euro at end-October, the data indicated.
General government gross foreign debt fell 6.5% on the month to 21.4 billion euro, while the debt of the central bank edged up to 2.5 billion euro from 2.4 billion euro.
The debt of deposit taking corporations, excluding the central bank, decreased 3.6% to 4.2 billion euro, the debt of the non-financial sector edged down 0.4% to 10.99 billion euro, and intercompany lending dropped 4.2% to 3.6 billion euro.
