February 18 (SeeNews) - Slovenian energy group GEN-I recorded a consolidated net profit edged up to 15.4 million euro ($18.6 million) in 2020 from 15.3 million euro in the previous year, it said.
The group's consolidated sales revenue fell 4.7% to 2.1 billion euro last year, while consolidated costs declined 5.2% to 2.06 billion euro, GEN-I said in its full-year financial report, filed with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
The company's EBITDA rose 39.7% to 32.1 million euro in 2020, while its EBIT was up 18.2% to 23.4 million euro.
GEN-I is a 50/50 joint venture company of Slovenian state-owned energy group GEN Energija and its affiliate investment firm GEN-EL Nalozbe.
The group comprises GEN-I d.o.o. and its 14 subsidiaries, being present in Austria, Italy, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, Greece, Turkey, Ukraine, Georgia and Slovenia.
