January 16 (SeeNews) - The number of passengers carried by Slovenia's Adria Airways increased 2% on the year in November, reaching 104,500, the national statistics agency announced on Monday.
The planes of Slovenia's flag carrier travelled 98 million passenger-kilometres in November, up 2% year-on-year, the agency said in a monthly transport sector report.
Passenger traffic at the Ljubljana airport rose by 6% on the year in November to some 99,000.
In the review period, 4,456 passengers were recorded in Slovenian ports. Five cruise ships arrived in the port of Koper in November 2016, while only one arrived in November 2015.
The Port of Koper processes 1.6 million t of goods in November, 11% less than in the same period a year earlier.
