September 27 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) fell for an eighth consecutive session on Tuesday, with chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] pacing the blue-chip decliners, bourse data showed.
Cinkarna Celje's shares went down 2.54% to 23 euro on Tuesday. Fuel and petroleum retailer Petrol [LJE:PETG] was another major loser, with shares declining 2.26% to 390 euro.
At the other end, Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] gained the most among the blue chips - 1.23%. Its shares closed at 49.40 euro.
The blue-chip SBITOP index ended the trading session at 988.90 points, down 0.62%. The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, also lost 0.62% and closed at 1,237.71 points on Tuesday.
Total daily regulated market turnover rose to 2.5 million euro ($2.4 million) on Tuesday compared with 1.65 million euro generated on Monday.
Pharmaceutical company Krka [LJE:KRKG] was the most traded company on the bourse on Tuesday, accounting for a turnover of 1.1 million euro. Krka's shares lost 0.23% and closed at 86.80 euro.
