March 8 (SeeNews) - Retail sales in Slovenia fell by an annual 13% in terms of volume in January, marking the second-largest decline among EU member states for which data is available for the first month of 2021, after Austria and Slovakia which were on par, Eurostat said.
On a monthly comparison basis, retail trade volume in Slovenia added 1.3% in January, the bloc's statistical office said in a statement last week.
Elsewhere in Southeast Europe (SEE), Bulgaria showed the second-biggest monthly increase in retail trade volume in the review month, among EU member states for which data is available, after Sweden.
