August 17 (SeeNews) - Passenger numbers at North Macedonia’s international airports in Skopje and Ohrid reached 1,242,824 in the January - July period, up 103% compared with the same period of last year, Aeroports de Paris (ADP) said.
In July alone, passenger numbers increased to 294,009, up by 76,606 from July 2021, while in the 12 months through July, passenger traffic rose 125.3% to 2 million, ADP said in a statement on Tuesday.
ADP owns 46% of Turkey’s TAV Airports, the company operating the airports in Skopje and Ohrid.
Aircraft movements at the two airports reached 10,622 in January-July, up 41.8% compared with the like period of 2021.
In July alone, there were 2,255 aircraft operations at the two airports, 290 more than in July of last year.
In the 12 months through July, aircraft movements rose 58.5% to 18,121.
