January 14 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 6,301.12 points on Friday, up about 1.5% compared with its closing value of 6,206.24 points on January 5, bourse data showed.
The bourse was closed on January 6 and January 7 for Orthodox Christmas.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) rose to 143.7 million denars ($2.7 million/2.3 million euro) in five trading sessions this week, compared with 76.8 million denars in three trading sessions last week.
Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] contributed the largest single portion of the trading turnover on the MSE this week, of 70.2 million denars, as 5,764 of the lender's shares changed hands in a total of 204 transactions.
The MSE's OMB bond index closed at 133.62 points, unchanged compared with its closing value on January 5.
