January 28 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 6,196.73 points on Friday, down about 2.2% compared with its closing value of 6,333.05 points on January 21, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) fell to 171.1 million denars ($3.1 million/2.8 million euro) in five trading sessions this week, compared with 176.1 million denars in four trading sessions last week.
The bourse was closed on January 19 for the Epiphany holiday.
Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] contributed the largest single portion of the trading turnover on the MSE this week, of 94.7 million denars, as 7,812 of the lender's shares changed hands in a total of 297 transactions.
The MSE's OMB bond index closed at 133.62 points, unchanged compared with its closing value on January 21.
