February 26 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 5,006.57 points on Friday, 1.8% down compared with its closing value of 5,097.53 on February 19, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) more than doubled to 484.44 million denars ($9.6 million/7.9 million euro) this week from 212.4 million denars last week.
Construction company Granit [MSE:GRNT] contributed the largest single portion of the trading turnover on the MSE this week, of 52.5 million denars, as 40,328 of the company's shares changed hands in a total of 38 transactions.
The MSE's OMB bond index closed at 133.31 points on February 26, up compared with its closing reading of 133.01 on February 19.
