BELGRADE (Serbia), December 23 (SeeNews) – Serbian construction company Jedinstvo [BEL:JESV] has won a 5.5 million euro ($5.8 million) contract under a proejct for the construction of a wastewater collection system in Krusevac, the local authorities said.
Jedinstvo was awarded the contract in a consortium with Serbian companies Telekomunikacija Blace and SADE Serbia, the city government of Krusevac, in southern Serbia, said in a statement on earlier this week.
The project is part of a bigger programme for improving water supply and wastewater collection in medium-sized municipalities in Serbia, which is financed by German development bank KfW.
The value of the entire project in Krusevac, which also involves the construction of a wastewater treatment plant, is about 24 million euro.
The project for the construction of the wastewater treatment plant was awarded to a consortium of Serbia's LAD Group, Greece's Aktor and Belgian group Waterleau in April 2016.
Jedinstvo is part of the BELEX15 blue-chip index on the Belgrade Stock Exchange. As at 1200 CET on Friday, Jedinstvo was trading 0.64% higher at 4,400 dinars.
