June 23 (SeeNews) - The Russian government said reciprocal regular air traffic to several countries, including Bulgaria, will resume on June 28, following a review of the epidemiological situation in these countries.
Flights on the routes from Moscow to Bulgaria's capital Sofia and to the coastal cities of Varna and Burgas, will resume with a frequency of four flights per week on each of the three routes, the Russian government said in a statement published on its website last week.
The routes that will be operated again also include Yekaterinburg-Burgas, Yekaterinburg-Varna, Mineralnye Vody-Varna, Samara-Burgas, Rostov-on-Don-Varna and Rostov-on-Don-Burgas, with one flight per week on each of those routes, the Russian government added.
Russia suspended all tourist flights to Bulgaria at the beginning of May due to the coronavirus pandemic.
