October 14 (SeeNews) - Romania's industrial sales jumped 23.3% year-on-year in January-August, data from the country's statistical office, INS, showed on Thursday.
Sales of durable goods jumped by an annual 29.8% in the first eight months of the year, those of intermediary goods rose by 29.1% on the year, sales of capital goods rose 26.8% on the year, while those of non-durable goods increased by 11.4% on the year, INS said in a press release.
Sales of energy goods rose by an annual 9.6% in January-August.
