March 8 (SeeNews) - Romania's finance ministry on Monday rejected all bids for at a 400 million lei ($97 million/82 million euro) auction of Treasury bonds maturing on June 24 2026, data from the country's central bank showed.
Total bids placed totaled 627 million lei, the data indicated.
The issue will be reopened on Tuesday when the finance ministry hopes to raise 60 million lei in a non-competitive tender.
Romania last sold the bonds in February at a 2.30% yield.

Romania's finance ministry intends to sell 3.85 billion lei worth of government securities in March, including 450 million lei in non-competitive offers.
So far this year, the finance ministry has sold some 14.5 billion lei and 1.25 billion euro ($1.52 billion) worth of government bills and bonds.
