January 21 (SeeNews) - Romania posted consumer price inflation of 6.7% year-on-year in December - the highest rate of increase on this indicator among EU member states in Southeast Europe (SEE), Eurostat said.
Bulgaria saw the highest consumer price increase on a monthly comparison basis among EU countries in the region, of 0.8%, the bloc's statistical office said in a statement on Thursday.
Elsewhere in SEE, Greece had the lowest annual inflation in December, of 4.4%.
