ZAGREB (Croatia), July 30 (SeeNews) – Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) said on Friday that its after-tax profit from operations in Croatia surged to 23 million euro ($27.4 million) in the first half of 2021, from 3 million euro in the same period of 2020.
RBI's operating income in Croatia rose to 43 million euro from 31 million in the same period of last year, RBI said in its half-year 2021 financial report.
Net interest income from operations in Croatia declined to 56 million kuna from 59 million in the first half of last year, while net fee and commission income increased to 33 million euro from 29 million euro.
Net trading income amounted to 3 million euro in the period under review, compared to a negative 3 million euro in the same period last year.
General administrative expenses declined to 52 million euro in the period under review, from 56 million euro in the first half of 2020.
Impairment losses on financial assets narrowed to a negative 2 million euro in the January-June period, from a negative 14 million euro a year earlier.
