SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), July 30 (SeeNews) – Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) said on Friday its after-tax profit from operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina increased 39.8% on the year in the first half of 2021, reaching 17 million euro ($20.2 million).
Bosnia-based Raiffeisen Bank generated an operating income of 55 million euro in the January-June period, up 2.9% on the year, the parent bank said in its half-year 2021 financial report.
RBI's net interest income from Bosnian operations dropped by 5.4% on the year to 30 million euro in the first six months of 2021, while net fee and commissions income rose 17% to 22 million euro.
Net trading income amounted to 1 million euro in the period under review, 3% higher compared with the same period last year.
General administrative expenses went down 5% year-on-year to 24 million euro in the period under review.
Impairment losses on financial assets narrowed to a negative 7 million euro in the January-June period, from a negative 11 million euro a year earlier.
