October 19 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as stock indices ended mixed, bourse data showed.
A total of 160 NIS shares changed hands in a turnover of 95,100 dinars. The company closed flat at 594 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.32% at 791.08 points.
Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price grew 2.38% to 1,076 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 0.02% at 1,667.06.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 210.8 million dinars ($2.1 million/1.8 million euro) on Tuesday, up from 4.7 million dinars on Monday, as 196 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 47 million dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 163.6 million dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Tuesday.
