May 23 (SeeNews) - The stock indices on the Belgrade Stock Exchange ended down on Monday, with oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] pacing the blue-chip decliners, bourse data showed.
NIS' shares closed 3.02% lower at 545 dinars on Monday.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 0.72% at 815.90 points. The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 0.40% at 1,647.62.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 15.3 million dinars ($138,700/130,200 euro) on Monday, down from 16.0 million dinars on Friday, as 108 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 42,425 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 573,006 dinars to the total turnover on the stock exchange on Monday.
