November 14 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based diversified company Makpromet [MSE:MAKP] said on Monday that its net profit fell to 11.7 million denars ($195,300/189,300 euro) in the nine months through September, from 23 million denars in the like period of 2021.
Makpromet's sales revenue came in at 229.8 million denars in the nine-month period, up 16% year-on-year, the company said in a bourse filing.
Domestic sales rose 18% on the year in the period under review, reaching 95.3 million denars, while those abroad went up 15% year-on-year, reaching 134.5 million denars.
The company's operating profit fell to 14 million denars in the nine months through September, from 25.3 million denars a year earlier.
The company's shares last traded on the MSE on October 28 at an average price of 600 denars.
Makpromet is North Macedonia-based company involved in several industries. Its family of businesses includes Zito Leb bakery, the confectionery producer Evropa, the printing company Illinden 2002, and the Makpromet Supermarkets.
