July 30 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's largest lender, Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB], said that its consolidated net profit rose 10.3% year-on-year in the first half of 2021, reaching 829 million denars ($16 million/13.4 million euro).
The bank's net interest income edged down 2.2% on the year to 1.2 billion denars in the period under review, Komercijalna Banka said in an interim financial statement filed with the stock exchange in Skopje on Thursday.
Net fee and commission income increased by an annual 16.3%, reaching 522.7 million denars in the January-June period.
Komercijalna Banka's loans and advances to customers other than banks slightly grew to 51.3 billion denars at the end of June, compared with 51 billion denars at the end of December, while deposits from such customers increased to 122.9 billion denars from 116.5 billion denars at the end of 2020.
Komercijalna's total assets rose to 140.2 billion denars at the end of June from 132.6 billion denars at the end of last year.
