September 21 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's gross domestic product (GDP) went up by a real 13% in 2021, following a 15.3% decline in 2020, the country's statistical office announced on Wednesday.
In nominal terms, Montenegro's GDP went up by 18.4% last year, versus a 15.5% fall in 2020, the statistical office said in a statement.
The country’s GDP totalled 4.955 billion euro ($4.920 billion) at current prices in 2021, up from 4.186 billion euro a year earlier.
Final consumption expenditure increased to 4.594 billion euro in 2021 from 4.346 billion euro in the like period of last year.
Exports totalled 2.122 billion euro and imports amounted to 3.082 billion euro.
