September 21 (SeeNews) - Montenegrin state-controlled rail transport operator Zeljeznicki Prevoz Crne Gore [MNG:ZPCG] reported on Wednesday a net profit of 231,000 euro ($229,000) in the first half of 2022, sharply up from 48,200 euro in the like period of last year.
Revenues went up 10% on the year to over 4.34 million euro, from 3.95 million euro in the first six months of 2021, ZPCG said in an interim financial statement filed with the Montenegro Stock Exchange.
Operating costs increased to 2.06 million euro from 1.91 million euro in the first half of last year.
ZPCG's capital is composed of 7,114,635 shares with a nominal price of 5.2813 euro apiece. The company is listed on the standard market segment of the Montenegro Stock Exchange. The company last traded on July 11, at a price of 0.3014 euro apiece. The state directly controls a 90.79% stake in the capital of ZPCG.
