CHISINAU (Moldova), July 27 (SeeNews) – Moldova’s agricultural output fell by 11.3% on the year to 5.2 billion lei ($288 million/ 244 million euro) in comparable prices in the first half of 2021, mainly due to a strong drop in plant production, the country's statistical office BNS said on Tuesday, citing preliminary data.
Plant production decreased by an annual 22.8% in the first half of the year due to a delay in the harvesting campaign caused by unfavorable weather, BNS said in a press release.
