August 31 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's Centralna Kooperativna Banka said on Wednesday its pre-tax loss for the first half of the year shrank by an annual 52.8% to 21.8 million denars ($395,510/355,025 euro) mainly due to higher income and lower impairments.
The lender's net interest income grew 6.4% year-on-year to 114 million denars in January-June, while net fee and commission income jumped 13.4% to 36.1 million denars, it said in a filing with the Macedonian stock exchange.
Impairment losses of non-financial assets dropped to 4.2 million denars from 21.1 million denars in the first half of 2015.
Centralna Kooperativna Banka is majority owned by Bulgaria's Central Cooperative Bank.
